2013 has arrived and this is my year. I have been waiting for some time for my kids to come of age, for my baby to get through the newborn stage and my homeschool room to be complete.
Well I'm happy to say we are just about there. This weekend we are going to get started on painting our garage (homeschool room) and I'm just a little bit giddy about it.
We have know for some time that we were going to homeschool our kids, and of course we have been naturally been doing it with them through their toddler years. But now that they are of preschool age we are right ready to get into things.
This year I am excited to start Five In a Row. My sister recommended it to me as she taught it to her daughters. I have bought all the Before Five in a Row books and already the kids love the stories. I can't wait to delve into them.

Thank goodness for clever friends because Nes and I have no idea about building. Nestor's great mate came by and help us out which we are so thankful for.
We have made a two meter storage area in front of the the garage door for all our garage storage and behind the wall will be our homeschool room. There is entry in to our house and to our back yard.
we plan to put lighting and a ceiling fan in as well.
I'll keep you posted on how it is going. Hopefully we will be up and running for school to start in February. Yay!
